Yeah I think they use some type of chart based on your initial weight and maybe BMI. But honestly it's only 2lbs so she should cut you a little slack. Not like it was 10 or 20!!

Me too the exact same except I'm only 4 months I have 6 more to go

@danamarie, yeah I know right!? I'm 20 weeks 2 days and and so far I've gained only 7lbs. I honestly don't think that at halfway through my pregnancy that's a lot of weight.

They've said I've only gained 7lbs at 14 weeks but due to the morning sickness I put on at least 5lbs before my first apt. Probably bc I quit running from the sickness but it still makes me feel like a fat ass. So yea 7lbs for 20 weeks - tell her to honk off!! Lol. :). @dyvargas1983

@danamarie, lol I sure will. As long as baby is healthy and I'm healthy I don't think it should matter.

when you are big to start with they only want us to gain 15 lbs in the whole pregnancy. I started out at 248 I am now 258, I am 31 weeks. my doctor wants me to try and stay this Weight. it's best to follow doctors orders so you don't end up with preeclamcia, gestational diabetes, or anything like that. good luck @baby_guaderrama

thanks @soon2bemomof2 So far no GD I'm diet controlled Diabetic no meds doctor isn't even testing for it since I do record my sugars and my AC1 is a 5.5 and blood pressure is great.
