@britthardy, my water did not break the midwife had to do it when I reached 10cm and I had been crampy all day like a period the day before I had her and my back was hurting with tons of pressure in my pelvic area. I had been grocery shopping last saturday and when I got home I was having braxton hicks contractions that were getting stronger and more painful as the hours went on and everytime I went to the bathroom I would wipe and there would be blood/bloody discharge and I remembered having that when I was in labor with my son. I also kept feeling like I had to go number 2 but everytime I went to the bathroom nothing would happen. so final around 1:30am on Sunday (mothers day) I told my husband that I really felt like we needed to go to l&d so we put our bags in the car and went.

@aprilcgutkopf, in Nc they want discharge a baby under 36 weeks. but she has a feeding tube because she is learning to eat from a bottle because I had her at 34 weeks ans thats when they learn in te womb to start sucking and swallowing so as soon as she learns to do that and can do it for 24 hours without her feedin tube ahe will be able to come home

@aprilcgutkopf, thank you that means a lot @oliviasmommy24 its like iu bind with them everyday in your stomach then you feel like they are ripped away from you and they are all that you think about when you aren't with them

Yup I had her on a wend didn't hold her till Friday I cried every time I left the NICU
