You're tested around week 35 and although it's harmless to adults, it may be harmful to your baby passing through the birth canal so your doctor will make sure to test you so when you go into labor they know to put you on antibiotics so your baby is protected
yep I was positive for it my first pregnancy, but not with this one. its just an iv so make sure you get to hospital a little earlier than normal so it has time to kick in and all that jazz.
