What the hell did I just read? 😩😂😂😂 nah, anyone else just read that?
@happymommy93, I definitely agree with you on that. Most of us will always want the best for our babies and will do anything to make sure their healthy. There's a few circumstances where I can see where weed is beneficial, but always in moderation. For me I only needed like half a blunt every couple of days because my morning sickness was so bad that it put me in the hospital a couple times. But now that I don't have morning sickness I don't smoke. I have a few friends that used it medically for pains and anxiety and their babies are fine. But then again, moderation is definitely key. Just like with certain foods.
She did both. The bio mom is big in to weed. I know it's a hard habit to break with smoking cigarettes. But to me I would want to do everything in my power to avoid hurting my baby. I just think that if you're in to weed, fine. But don't force it on your un born child. I think a you can live 9 months without it. (By you not referring to you. Lol. I'm using "you" as a in anybody)
@happymommy93, I've heard that happens sometimes. Did she smoke cigarettes or weed? And if so how much? I've seen several people say that it really depends on how much weed (and what type) you smoke that affects babies.
@bryawna13, if only bills didn't exist lol. And me too!! It would be so much fun 😄
The reason I think the way I do is because my two adopted brothers has a rough time as babies because their bio mother thought smoking couldn't harm them.
@happymommy93, and you are more than welcome to have that opinion I could agree to an extent but hey I do think there are situations I feel I would completely disagree. But it's nothing anyone should fight about ☺️ @renaeevans I was stressing about bills lol fun stuff right? And I agree ☺️ man I wish everyone lived closer I want a potluck hahaha I'm so hungry 😂
@happymommy93, and that's you're opinion and I'm perfectly fine with that
@bryawna13, where were you about 30 minutes ago when I need this explained to the women that started all of this mess? You and one other person have completely hit the nail on the head for this subject. We all agree that in certain situations, smoking is what's best or at least what's needed & that there's definitely a limit to how much one should smoke. But at the end of the day it's that persons decision. I'm not going to sit here and dehumanize someone because of what they do. 9 times out of 10, most mothers smoke to help with morning sickness. For me, I sure as hell did. My morning sickness was horrible especially since I'm having twins. I ended up in the hospital multiple times from dehydration and not being able to keep anything down. I was already underweight at that time so god knows if I hadn't smoked those few times, my kids wouldn't be here. I'm 29 weeks now and they're as healthy as they can be. But like you said, at the end of the day it really depends on the person and how they feel
When people say they're leaving after being rude about other moms life choices .... Uh. DELETE THEN lol yes.
I agree. I mean I don't agree to let's get high off my ass all day every day to the point I can't function because then I think anyone might worry about the health of the baby I mean shit even the health of the one smoking hahaha but I don't think it makes anyone a bad mother for doing it. I smoked twice in the beginning of my pregnancy because I went four weeks and literally kept down three meals and had to have ivs to keep me hydrated the two times I smoked I kept food down. Without that my baby would not have had any type of nutrients. I did it for my baby. I haven't smoked since but that's a personal choice. And my baby is healthy as a damn horse. My best friend just had her little girl she was an everyday smoker because she suffered severe anxiety and depression her whole life and she wasn't going to tKe pills so smoking once in a while helped her and her baby is gorgeous and perfectly healthy. There are reasons it is good and there are reasons maybe some shouldn't but that's not for anyone else to decide. It's like being pissed because someone isn't breastfeeding but they have the option to it's really not anyone's business even though it's known that babies are getting a lot of their immune system from breast milk that they can't get from formula because a mother passes those immunities down that you can't get from vaccines. But again it not anyone else's decision and what may be best for your baby doesn't mean it's best for everyone else's
@bryawna13, I agree with you. Like I understand everyone has their own opinions but to completely degrade people for what they do & for others to say children should be taken from there mothers is too much. To say that mothers that smoke are practically satan himself is horrible
Honestly that is so ridiculous I kinda feel like regardless of your view on smoking I would much rather see someone who smokes weed take care of a baby than see babies lose perfectly good healthy families for such a dumb reason to go into foster care and have horrible things happen 😔 it makes me sad to think about that. Some people have actually used weed to help with severe morning sickness when they couldn't even keep water down because it was the only thing that have them enough appetite to give their baby nutrients. It's never been proven that it affects the baby either...I've actually read studies that showed mothers who did smoke their babies were learning and more attentive before the others. It could be mere coincidence but I just think that's kinda extreme to resort to. 😕
Yeah I feel you. Honestly I asked my dr how likely it was for someone who used marijuana to lose their children and he said it was highly unlikely. The state only really cares about hard drugs. But people are gonna believe what they want
@santistevanmommie, I just thought it was funny lol. Like damn lets just take away thousands of babies from their mothers. I'm not arguing with anyone though. She can feel how she wants
I don't know where her post is but that is the law in some states. And it is quite funny some people have some funny opinions and no education to back them. But I'm not gonna get butt hurt over some post
can we seriously all just grow up, move on, and worry about ourselves. let them state their opinion without getting BS about it. it why they believe . agree to disagree and everyone will be fine.
ha ridiculous more people who aren't educated trying to give their opinion
I'm guessing the one where she said you should get your child taken away?
@renaeevans, I definitely agree! I do understand for medical reasons.
