I don't know if it's just me or what. I don't hate my boyfriends mother but she doesn't always agree…

If my boyfriend said that I'd flip too , I'd be like "excuse me" that's not right if my hubby wanted someone there I didn't I'd want him to ask or try to talk to me not act like he makes the decisions no matter what I say. hell no lol I'm having my sister (she raised me she is practically my mom) and husband in the room. my first birth my husband's mom was in the room and I didn't want her there but it was really important to him that she was there and at the time I was in so much pain I didn't give a shit so she was in the room.

My luck she'd be in there annoying me and I'd flip shit and say something I shouldnt. lol. I'm not a very nice person when in pain, I just want to try to be confortable.. and I know that won't happen with all the people that want to be there. I'm pissing alot of people off by telling them no but shit... they need to try this pregnancy thing. lol

@kaitlyn.edwards, I don't blame you. maybe just have her there while you push not during labor. The actual pushing process is so fast and you'll be so busy pushing and focusing you won't even notice, then once baby arrives have the nurses clear everyone out of the room but hubby while you get cleaned up??

Maybe... she's not very fond of personal space. She will probably try to hold or touch her after she comes out and I just can only imagen what she'll do. I sound so mean right now but I just want my baby to myself at first... no visitors or anything.. I Mena I waited 9 months for her..

I'm the same way with my mother in law, I would be extremely upset if my husband tried that, his mom and I get along for the most part but the tension has been high since she's super catholic and wants the child raised that way and I told her no, if I were you, I would explain to her I don't want to hurt your feelings, but I would rather you be in the waiting room

My MIL is the doing the SAME exact thing!

@mommathesing, I tried that today and it just went terrible.

She doesn't even approve of the cloths I get. She thinks I'm so picky... I wanted my daughter to have some new things and it pissed her off.

this is my life story. Ive had trouble with this and Im glad you posted this so I can see responses from other mommas going through the same thing!

YOUR choice!!! going through the same thing...if he isn't your husband you can even tell the doctor that he can't be in there so at least you're nice enough to let him be a part of it! let the dr know when you're ready for people to leave and who can stay and she will not be in there. that's crap!

it's your child so you make all the decisions...trust me I can go on and on bc I'm going through the same things lol his mom is trying to be my child's mom! Like wtf lol

that is 100% your choice. he's not the one pushing a baby out. he wouldn't want someone hes uncomfortable with watching him pop out a baby.
