Storm wasn't moving much yesterday so I went to the hospital & turns out I was in labor. I was given something to stop it and now I'm on bed rest. This isn't going to be a fun 4 weeks:/ oh and by the way if you have a significant other in the military and they're gone when an emergency happens be prepared to go through hell with the Red Cross to try and get them home!

@cray.xo, my boyfriend is at drill for two weeks an hour away and his SGT told me to call Red Cross and have them send him home. So I went through this huge long process like three times just to get denied. Because for some reason they didn't see me being in preterm labor an emergency.

Red Cross shouldn't have any say so in when he is to come home. Something isn't adding up right, also you shouldn't be the one contacting to get him home his SGT should..? What branch is he in?

@cray.xo, in order for him to leave without getting into trouble I had to call Red Cross and let them talk to my doctor and what not. And he's in the national guard. & @tiffany09 yes we are! Thank you!

hmm, maybe the Air Force just handles things differently then.. lol. Thankfully I don't have anything to worry about when it comes time for him to be there.
