doc said 2cm 70% he's low and very soft cervix. .but still set induction date for June 2nd...not happy wishing it was set for last week of May but whatever maybe he come sooner. I've been trying. im guessing she meant 2cm dilated is that the same as my cervix being 2cm long? im kind of confused i guess.

Your cervix kinda looks like a donut, and the opening in the middle is where the baby comes through. Right now that opening is opened 2 cm wide. That's how my Dr explained it lol

The 70% is your effacement, or how flat your cervix is. The flatter it gets, the easier it is to dilate

If you're 70% effaced you have a 93% chance of going into labor on your own by your due date. I would seriously reconsider being induced.

@beepsteak92, my due date was like 3 diff dates lol. june 3, 7 or 9th....she wants to induce me june 2nd. so i have plenty of time to go before then and i want to before then!.
