Hi ladies,Been to midwife appointment im 27wk and 4days but she says im measuring at 30 weeks should i be worried and also i have been gettin pains in my thighs and i told her and she said shes refering me to a physiotherapist, and said there could be upto ten ladies there at the same time, what do they make u do? Im not really comfortable around other people is there anything i could do at home to help?? X
Just like @phiney im not a confident person @joebi i struggle to make eye contact with one person wen im talkin never mind a room full of women 🙈lol i was just thinkin if there was somethin that i could do at home to help it its bearable during the day i just struggle at night to get out of bed to nip to loo etc..or just turn over in bed never had this problem with my first.x
I requested one on one physio, problem is the appointments are few and far between. They seem to like putting you in groups. I'd imagine it's just the same sort of exercises you'd do on a 121 such as picking.boxes up, how you get up, out of bed etc. I wouldn't worry too much if anything it would be good to talk to women in the same boat as you and share hints and tips x
I'm struggling too @mummy123 ask of there are any 1 on 1 sessions you can go to, you may just have to wait longer to be seen. I'll be honest I had spd with my first I had 4 sessions before he arrived and 3 after and they didn't do a great deal. This time I have pelvic.gurdle so I'm interested to see how different the physio will be.
I had a slide sheet with my first but can't remember the brand, Google maternity slide sheet, they help you turn over in bed alternatively laying on a satin sheet helps, it's pretty much the same thing x
