Im all hormonal bc my ex messaged me on mothers day sing he'd like to sign over his rights. I was very happy and I was told that it would be easier if me and my bf got married. so he could adopt her. it would make me so happy if we all had the same last name... so I talked to my bf about it and he said were not ready... but I don't get it im pregnant now with our second baby and we've been together 4 years next month but he says we're not ready. if we're not ready by now I don't think we ever will be. and not only that be I keep thinking about that I brought stuff like this up before abopting our daughter and getting married and also buying a house stuff like that and he acts like im dumb and it's a stupid idea.... idk what to do I just know my feelings are hurt. @lexieann07

You have every right to be hurt by that. If he's not ready to commit to you he should've thought about that before you both got pregnant twice. It's not stupid but you can't make someone want what you want. It'll either change when he's ready (for your sake I hope it's soon) or he's not the right guy..

Im just really upset that my ex is ready to sign the rights over and all that's holding us back is legally making us man and wife. I don't see what the difference is honestly. we're all but married now
