Not many pregnant women are aware that the time period after giving birth is actually called “ the fourth trimester.” And seeing that every trimester gets harder, the fourth trimester is really pushing it. However, women do not really talk about what happens postpartum more than they do with pregnancy or giving birth—which is why postpartum becomes a huge shock to mothers.

It’s like the feeling of getting through the toughest part of an exam, only to see a harder question at the back of the last page.

Postpartum is something every mother will have to go through. Some will have it better and some will have it worse.
