ok so you know how when you first find out your pregnant they give you an estimated due date going by the first day of your last period....
well my estimated due date turned out to be my exact due date how is that possible...
my last period was 1/17/15 and estimated due date of 10/24/15
so if my estimated due date is my true due date when did I conceive?
soooo confused...

Approximately 2 weeks after the start of the last period you had. Not a lot of women have their baby on their due date. I did, but I asked to be induced that day.

It's an estimate 40weeks from the time of your last period. 40 weeks = 10 months. So it's not 'likely' you'll get to 40weeks. But perfectly possible due to us not knowing exactly when you conceived. It's super confusing to first time moms...but after 36weeks be prepared to go into labor because it's a waiting game after that! :)

My ultrasound measured on time with my due date for a little while, then my baby measured ahead of time, and then went back to normal. My baby was exactly a week late. My edd was 1/11/15 and I had him 1/18/15.. Only like 4-5% of babies are born on their actual due date (without induction). The whole edd thing is sooooo confusing. @dianne0825
