1) I was born and raised in Alaska

2) But I have lived half my life in Oregon

3) I was (finally) adopted when I was 8yo

4) it was an open adoption, so I still had contact with my birth mom

5) February 15, 2001 my birth mom passed away

6) June 6, 2008 my adopted mom passed away

7) both of their deaths have taught me to not only cherish every moment with people I love, but to strive to make the best memories ever with my daughter

8) before blockbuster closed (and before 2007) my family rented over 1000 movies. we're movie obsessed, if you will. lol.

9) my very first concert was Maroon 5. if you like them, go see them!! they are amazing live

10) I'm a grammar nazi. even in person (trying to ease up on that one)
