I had sciatica with my oldest son and unfortunately got no relief till he was born. The pain was awful.

@junebaby, it sucks bad! I had it for my 1st pregnancy as well. I was hoping it wouldn't happen with this pregnancy. Well I'm almost there he will be here soon. I was just wondering if anyone had any remedies to relieve this pain a little.

Only think that might help is a heating pad and a warm bath. you can try putting ice on the area too for about 15 minutes.

I just reread that you have tried ice and heat. Maybe some muscle rub cream or biofreeze. Check with your doctor first though but I think it's safe.

Yes I used that today and I got some relief. I was even able to take a nice nap after putting it on. It doesn't hurt so much right now. @junebaby
