Nipple stimulation for labor: does it actually work and what do I do?

pump 3 times a day for 30 minutes each day. I've heard it works. It causes me to have slight contractions but has yet to throw me into labor :(

The straight colostrum is best yea. I'm saving mine. But they also don't want you to bottle feed for the first couple week's. it's confusing

I've heard of that but it could also be false labor and not fully contractions, but the simulation is pumping usually I believe

Oh ok, I got induced at 39 weeks, also begged my Dr to induce me at like 35 weeks but she wouldn't because she may seem ready but not fully developed, can't wait to see pics!

I don't want to be induced medically, I'm just trying natural ways like walking squatting. I've looked into nipple stimulation but still I'm not sure whether I want to lol @camillesmom

I tried this and it didn't work. honestly it all depends on the woman's body on whether it will work or not.

I tried the nipple thing, sex, spicy food, walking, tea, and nothing worked. not even being in an accident lol. truthfully the only thing that worked to put me into full labor was a membrane sweep.

I don't think my doctor will do that for me:/ @firstbaby_girl he hasn't even checked to see if I'm dilated at all

that's weird. usually around 37-38 weeks they start membrane sweeps. maybe she doesn't do them? I'd ask.

He won't check until this wed she said. But he won't do a sweep he's told me:( @firstbaby_girl

I ate lots of pineapple and moved he was still a day late went into labor 40+1 had him 40+2

that's weird. maybe it's against his practice ? I hope he comes when you want. sorry mama. you could try the pumping your breastmilk technique. cause when I did that a few days after birth I could feel my unterus. contracting. it might work

Didn't work for me and I pumped them, just made my nipples sore 😔
