@alicia3_18, I exclusively pump..so she's strictly breastmilk but from a bottle not from my boobs since that didn't work out for us

Holding head still when sitting up assisted, chewing motions, the ability to turn away from the spoon or bottle when full, when you first start the spoon the cereal still needs to be quite thin I gradually increase the thickness week by week...when you do try it if you try it a couple times and baby just pushes food our with their tongue they're not ready then need to be able to move tongue to the back of their mouth

My daughter has had rice cereal in her bottles since she was 2 weeks cause she was constantly hungry & we started feeding her rice cereal with a spoon at 2.5 months cause she was showing all signs she was ready
