Hmm that's a good question I am thinking about me and my husband but then again it's my parents first grandchild so if they want to be there I'm not going to deny them .

Iwhile I was in labor I was aloud to have anyone I wanted in there and so I let our families come and go but I kicked everyone out but my mom and his mom when it came down to checking and all the other stuff. but I ended up having a c section after 24 hrs of labor and not moving past a 4. so my husband was the only one in there then.I regret having his mom in there she just kept making me feel uncomfortable. and she wasnt helping at all. but having my mom in there made me feel better. kind of like when ur a kid and ur sick and all u want is ur mommy. thats how I felt.

@anastay.p, I'm sorry but I threatened my s/o more then anything ... my aunt and grandma and s/o were in the room they kept it live It was easier to keep my mind of the pain but when it came to time to push I wanted everyone out , didn't happen lol but I'm thankful for them being there now .

@phasion, you're right. That's what I'm thinking about too, but they told me this will be my decision. My dad is too sensitive, so probably it would me only my mom, and my mom like when think are fine her way and this is our moment.. Maybe I'm wrong.

@bparolin, yeah, that's ehT I thought about too, it's probably good to have my mom around at such moment.. It's just I'm scared that my husband is not going to be happy about that and he won't tell me

I think once it gets down to it ull do what feels right for u and what makes u comfortable.

when I delivered my sons. I had my husband and my grandma who raised me in the room back in 2012 then when I delivered 6 months ago I had my husband and my MIL! I'm expecting again, and this time I plan on having my husband and again my MIL! I loved having a second person in the room because they took all the pictures of the babies first moments while my husband stood bedside me holding my hand comforting me while we watched the nurses bath the baby and all that fun stuff :)

I'm only going to have my boyfriend there while pushing. I only want my mom there just in case he can't be due to work reasons. I like his mom but she stresses me out. she loves to freak out over tiny stuff so I don't even want her there during labor. I really don't even want visitors while I'm in the hospital but I know that won't happen
