i am getting induced in 2 weeks. how long do i have to be in pain before i can get an epidural? can i just get it at any time? like right when i feel pain. im a first time mom

@missj_stephens, my nurses said anytime I want it, I can ask for it. so I'm sure it will be the same for you..I'd say get it right when you get contractions so you don't have to feel them anymore. they're awful!

ok i only ask cuz they said my sister took her epidural too early. she was in pain for 2 hours in the hospital before she was able to get it. but her epidural started wearing off when it came time for her to push. She was in labor for 10 hours

oh hmm..I got my epidural at 11 & of wore off around 10 that night. I had it from 11-4 which was my "active labor" lol

no its ok u look good. i was born small framed. then i gained alota weight. well 2 years ago i lost alot due to a horrible esophagus condition. i cant eat much because of it. so now im skinny again which i absolutely hate
