For i will hear your first cry, catch your first tear, be your first friend, your first love, but never will i break your heart. i will kiss every scraped knee, rock you to sleep. Sing you a lullaby, and rub your tummy when it hurts. i will help you learn how to use the potty, and i will give you a bath after a long day of playing outside. i will be here to hold you as you cry, listen to all your problems. after every fight, i will come and say im sorry, even if you were wrong. i will be your worse enemy, but your best friend. i will expect too much out of you, and put to much pressure, because i love you and want you to do well. i will support every decision you make, even if I don't agree with it. if it makes you happy, im happy. all i wanna do is see you smile, and be by your side every day that i have left on this earth to help you learn right from wrong. i will love you, cherish you, be there for you no matter what. i will be your best friend but most importantly... i will be your mom. and no one will change that and i promise for as long as i shall live, i will always be there to pick you up when you're down. forever & always. ♡
