ladies help! I breast feed my little girl who's 4 days old. but I'm making way to much milk then what she actually needs. and my books are so sore. I feel like I have bruises all over them. my daughter nurses every 2 hours to 2 and a half hours for about 15 minutes. but my boobs are still full. I pump after I nurse her or before and I'm getting 2 oz from each breast and that's every hour to hour and a half. this makes it hard to sleep at night and to do my daily activities . they hurt so bad what can I do mommas. !!

Take a shower and let the warm water hit your boobs or take ice packs and set them on your boobs where they hurt it really helped me with the ice packs and just keeping pumping your boobs will eventually get used to but put it on a schedule

thanks I'll try that. it's just hard because when I try to nurse her he can't always latch because there so full.

Your welcome and i try and grab you boob like with your nipple between your two finger and kinda squeeze it so its easier for her to grip she will get the hang of it plus it will help her with starting the milk flow so kinda help her out to where it's easier to suck lol if that makes sense

I usually squeeze some out so it's not so full but it still hurts. now is it normal to bleed from your nipple? I was pumping and I saw bright 're blood in my breast milk.
