my boss is such a dick -.- I called and no one answered. I called back again and he answers and I tell him I can't come in as I'm going to try and see my doctor today due to seriously low cramping and whatnot. he starts whining and complaining about how its ten minutes before I'm supposed to be there and crap and I said I called earlier but no one answered. he claimed I called 50seconds ago. I said no I called around 7:41 and no one answered so I hung up. he said he picked up the phone. I asked why he didn't say anything. he asked me the same. hello!!? I'm calling you!! you're supposed to give me that stupid greeting that OfficeMax has us say. but nope. silence.
but I mean at least I called you! I could've just rolled over and tried to go back to sleep. smh

@14emathews, oh well let him talk and just don't listen! He's a man he will never understand what your going through in pregnancy and how important it is for you and your child to get checked on if your cramping like last night. Fuck him, he sounds rude as hell and karma is a real bitch!!

If he complains or threatens you or your job when you have proof if a doctors note, and needed to go due to low cramping and wanting to check on your baby, then I would call corporate and get them involved. Any company is supposed to be open minded about how there are many surprises with pregnancy and emergency visits will need to be made at times. If they deny that, hit me up and I'll whip out whatever I can find with company and laws related to their employees who are pregnant.😂 I don't play with that lol @14emathews

@mizzmeganmae he's brand new to our store and he honestly knows nothing. we all wear name tags as most retail stores do and somehow he called me Stephanie (another employee) while my name tag clearly says Beth and wasn't hidden. all he seems to care about is how many rewards sign ups in one shift I can get. if I don't meet that goal, he complains and tells me I can do better. -.- @k_ray lmao thank you! :) I'm a first time mom here who's only 19years old. I'm soon to be 32weeks and the thought of preterm labor scares the crap out of me! of course I may make unnecessary trips to make sure everything is fine but that's because this is MY son. if something bad were to happen all because I pushed myself to go to work instead of being checked out, I would be completely devastated. @may24th he is an asshole! I don't think he has any kids of his own. but that still shouldn't be an excuse.
