This couple used the heart rate sensor on the Sports Watch ($349) to track and share their newborn’s heartbeat with family members who couldn’t be there for the birth. Not a bad alternative to a sip and see!!
“Our first child was born and we used an Apple Watch Sport to send his heartbeat to our distant family members,” they write on their YouTube page. “It was a really awesome experience that we couldn’t have done without the Apple Watch.” No word on whether these folks are working for Apple.
