My vet told me that dogs (and cats) can sense when their "mommy" is going to have a baby. But to them, they think of it as in you're having a litter. They just don't know how many 'puppies' or 'kittens' you're going to have. This can stress pets out because they may think that once the litter arrives, they will have to share food and your love. Isn't that so sad, and sweet at the same time! 😢😍 . I know a lot of people call their babies their "little peanuts" or their "bean", but I called my daughter (before I found out the gender.) my little "puppy". I love animals; so sweet and aware!

That is soo cute!!! I heard about how animals can sense it. My dog and cat have just been so lovey and my dog just never wants to leave my side lol. Ive been saying my little "potato" lol but "puppy" is way cuter!! I will find out the sex of my baby on Friday😍😍😍

@anna.atterberry, that's so exiting! What do you want? I wanted a girl sooooo bad! (I got what I wanted! Hehehe!) -- And I've had a few people think it's weird that I called her the "little puppy", but whatever! I think it's cute! 😁

our dog does the same thing to me! if I go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, he will wait outside the door until we can go back to bed.
