Wanna know who your true friends are? Get pregnant — who lost friends after becoming a mom?

I began to see right away who I could trust and who I didn't want around my kid. Not to mention who was really only concerned with themselves lol

ohhh yes going through that now. I guess I rather have positive energy around me. Plus I have friends that are concerned with themselves also haha.

I lost some friends when I got married and lost the rest when I got pregnant

I lost pretty much everyone once I became a wife and a mommy. I have 1 friend left and that's my best friend. Crazy how true colors show. I've had a lot of hateful and hurtful things said to me from people I thought were my friends.

It's crazy how it happens. It also hurts when you have been a very good friend and you get nothing back. I hope as I grow as a person and a mother, I can make new friends. I am also learning to forgive and forget.

lost a couple... some ended up talking behind my back saying how dumb I was but after I had my son they all got pregnant. ..

I have been called name's too. I left my fiance for my high school sweetheart. I had to follow my heart and my ex wasn't faithful. Now all those mutual friends we had talk smack. I am happy and happy is the way to be. I just think it's crazy how people judge others.

Lost my two best friends ...they barely call or text me and they tell me things at the last minute..we've hung out once since I've been pregnant nd it was weird..we had nothing big to talk about ...I got bored and said I was going home to sleep

It was opposite for me. Ppl that I barely held conversations with tries to be my friend !! It's aggravating . We wasn't cool before I got pregnant

I guess that's a pain also... I think @mommieoftaylei that is the case for a bunch of women also.

You'll gain friends soon. I literally have no friends right now. The only people I'm around all day are my husband, son and MIL. I moved to South Carolina with my husband a year ago, and still have no friends. :(

I have literally like 3 friends now. Lol lost a lot of my friends but they are all doing drugs and I don't wanna be around that. So I'm happy.

Well after giving it a lot of thought today. We as mother's have each other here. If you ever need anyone to talk to I will listen. I also know that I can take this time to become closer to my man. I am lucky to have him. <3 I am sure new friends will come and go but I now have a family that will always be family and that is a true blessing :)
