@kayybae, the process is a long one I've been through custody and child support. But from what you just mentioned him getting full custody is most likely not going to happen unless you are using drugs and all over the place. Just stay calm go to the court house file the papers first and begin the process. It's a good thing to have an order in place if yall are not together so nothing crazy happens. Because him being her father by law he can take her for a weekend and not return her and it's not kidnapping if he's on the birth certificate. Having an order stops all of that from ever happening. Just stay on the right track and everything will work out in your favor. Good luck!

@kayybae, oh god I don't blame you it's a scary process. No one wants to have to fight to prove your a good mother when you know you are! It's not fair but unfortunately it's something us moms have to do when these little boys act up. You will be fine though, just start as soon as possible looks better if you take the first step and start the process.

Start paperwork now . Get a restraining order . The courts and law work by , it's not what you know but it's what you can prove . Keep all texts and any police reports . Don't ever let your baby go with him . He can take her and never return her by law simply because he's the father .
