OK I'm not entirely sure how this pediatrician thing works.. I asked at my appointment today who they would recommend and a lot of people said this one Dr. so I'm doing my research on him and I'm thinking I wanna go with him. OK so now what? I call and ask if he'll be my daughter's pediatrician? Idk what to do exactly help please

I believe you go in, and talk to the people at the from desk.. Explain what you are looking to do, and then his nurse will call you, and set something up so you can meet him, and then you'll get paper work that you'll need to fill out.. Some you can do right now, but others you'll have to wait for baby to get here. @babynoon15

The hospital asked me who I wanted as my pediatrician when I had my daughter. I guess they called him and let him know cause he showed up at the hospital that night, haha

Call the peds office and tell them u want to schedule a prenatal appointment with that pediatrician. I just did this the other day.

call the office & see if they're taking new patients. let them known when you're due & you can set up a meet & greet with you & doc or you just let the nurses know when you go into labor who you choose & if that doc can't come see baby when it's that time then whoever is on call for them will.
