Is it safe to add a little prune juice in my baby's formula because he's constipated idk what to do im a first time mom my son will be 1 month exactly tomorrow

like @mrschavez said an ounce of prune juice diluted with water should help. adding the water is so the baby doesn't get all cramped up from the prune juice.

@ajaysmommi, my doctor told me no prune juice, it can cause cramps. try bicycling his legs and you can give him 2 ounces of piedalyte, that should make him go

what I do is I put 1 oz of prune juice with 3 oz of water. My daughter is 2 and a half months.

I use karo syrup for my son now but I think your baby might sill be too little for that.
