Woke up Wednesday morning feeling crampy. The cramps weren't bad at all so I dismissed them as regular little pains and went back to sleep. Later that day around 2pm I agreed to watch my friends baby, maybe it was carrying her in the car seat but my cramps got worst. I started getting a little uncomfortable and I knew I was having contractions. My friend picked up her baby at 3:30 and afterwards around 4 I went to walmart to walk around. By this time the contractions were painful and making me tear up. We got back home around 5:30 and I got in the shower because I decided I wanted to go to the hospital. We got there about 7 and I was eventually checked. I was dilated to 3cm. Contractions were painful and I needed my bf to comfort me. They were in my back and lower stomach. About an hour later I was checked again and was a 4. We were moved to L&D. I got admitted and was given an iv. Every hour I progressed in centimeters. When I got to six they called the anesthesia doctor for an epidural. He didn't get there till I was a 7!! Contractions were insane! I had to really concentrate and breath even though it felt like it made it worst. I was singing in my head and telling myself it's just a bad massage. He got there and I had to bend over so he could put the needle in. ( we did this between contractions) about 10-20 minutes later I started numbing up. Contractions started to feel like cramps and was SUCH a relief. I was checked and was an 8. About an hour later I was a 10. So they called my doctor for delivery. When he got there I began pushing. I pushed 3 times for 10 seconds each. Then I rested and waited to feel cramping then did it over. When her head came out she slipped out. I felt such a relief. Daddy cut the cord and baby was placed on my belly. She was 7lbs. 5oz. 20.08 inches long. They took her and cleaned her up and cleaned me up as well. Once they were done with her I breastfed. I didn't tear. I just had an abrasion. ( which is like a scrape) ANY QUESTUONS??❤️❤️❤️
