my MIL is trying to control everything, from my relationship to how she "expects" me to raise my child that she constantly calls her child. like this is my first baby and so far she's been aggravating me to the max. and I try having a healthy relationship with her cause I don't want family drama but damn enough is enough. (there's soo much more but it would take too long to explain everything). ugh any advice from anyone that's been through this or is going through it cause I'm about to loose it.

The first time my mom and MIL said something about how I should raise my first kid and whatnot I told them that it's not their business and that if they're not popping the baby out their whoha they have no say on what goes on.

honestly? you have two options: 1. put your foot down and tell her to back off a little. 2. suck it up and just entertain her. sounds harsh but sometimes that's life. best of luck honey! 💕

I go through it too girl! She calls me gross for breastfeeding n is always sayin she isn't calling my son by his name (she don't like it ) but last time I checked this was my kid.. not hers. I honestly let her talk but at some times I do snap at her! she is like stuck in that high school drama shit it's so annoying.

that's exactly how she is! she's always trying to put her opinion in something even if its not needed like this is me and my fiance's "little family" that we started together and we can't even enjoy it. bad part is the baby isn't even here yet so I can only imagine. @mommyanddaddytobe

yep they sound pretty much the same lol it's so pathetic n not to top it off that my husband is a mamas boy!!! Like I feel like I'm in the movie Monster in law lmao 😂😂😂😂😂 she is rude as fuck n I haven't had my son yet so I can just imagine how she is going to boss me around about raising my son. that'll be the end of mine n her relationship flat out If she does that.

omg you just hit the spot! he's a mamas boy too and it's like he's afraid to stand up to his mom! and I said the same thing if she wants to HELP fine but if she's just gonna try to make demands and tell me what to do she's gonna become one less person I have to deal with✌ simple as that.
