clothes.but dont buy a whole ton in one size because they do grow quick. get some in different sizes according to how the weather will be around that time. bottles(if your not bf). a carseat/stroller. a place for baby to sleep. a swing. a bouncer. uhm diapers and wipes. i would buy a thing of wipes everytime i went to the store while i was pregnant. lol uhm you could buy diapers to stock up(again different sizes) and keep the reciepts. uhm blankets. and burp cloths. baby lotion and wash. maybe gripe water and gas drops.(just in case) boppy pillow. thermometer. socks and mitten... uhm....those were the main things i used. i cant think of anything else off the top of my head. oh binkis...if you want your baby to have one.

when I was in the hospital they gave me a million of those white, blue, pink receiving blankets. I used those as burp cloths.
