I'll be 25 weeks on sunday and I've only had 2 ultrasounds - the 1st at 10 weeks and my 2nd at 22 weeks. will I be getting more or is that it?
I keep having dreams that my baby boy has a cleft lip and has downs , not that I'd love him any less I'd just like to know before hand....
my BF says I'm being crazy to keep dreaming like this since our 22 week scan came back negative on all points.
but I can't control my dreams! :/

my friend told me that she only had 2 scans and that if they don't see any abnormalities they would do another scan....

I think some Dr. just do the 2 ultrasound I had to schedule another one j u st cause I want to see my baby girl again and see how much she's grown!

@mrsstewart did you have to pay separately to have that additional ultrasound?
are they able to tell if the baby has a cleft lip with just the normal black and white ultrasound or does I have to be 3d or 4d? I don't even know...

I am having to pay separately bit I had to with our others too insurance didn't cover ultrasound... Buttt I go Wednesday to get it done and it's not at the hospital it's at an actual ultrasound place they just send the info to the Dr. it does the black and white and 4D ultrasound plus I get lots of pics and a video... I think it just depends where you go

I had my anatomy scan at 22wks and they checked for cleft lip and it was black and white, but the tech told us she didn't have cleft lip and as she looked at all her organs she told us everything she was looking at and that it was normal. But my dr does their own 3d ultrasounds so I got a few of those as well as the dr did

I only had 3. My doctor only did 2. But when I first found out I was pregnant I went to a clinic and they did an ultrasound for me, that's the only way I got 3

I will , that's a good idea . he never does the ultrasound at his office ,he always gives me a prescription to get it done by the techs at the hospital
