I am very emotional right now. I find out the gender of my baby in 3 weeks. And now, after talking to his step dad, my boyfriend has decided he wants to wait until birth to find out the gender. I have been anticipating this appointment since day one and want to know then. What am I suppose to do now? How am I suppose to talk about baby or shop for baby without revealing the gender? His decision has made me very emotional.

forget that your the mom you come.up with the big decisions but if you wanna stick with what he said give your stomach a nickname

shop when he's not around for gender related items but get gender neutral items together. when talking about the baby if you have a nickname that you call the baby like peanut or something continue to use that. we still call my son our little bear, instead of his name 85% of the time & we've known the gender since 15 weeks.
