is there any way to fix this. my baby is on my boob constantly. like I'm not over exaggerating. he hardly sleeps bc he will wake up 10 min late r to eat again. except at night. but during the day he even ends up screaming so I fed formula the last two days at night. be drank 5 ounces each time. then was hsppy. please Help

call your local hospital, and see what your options are for getting a lactation consultant or a public health nurse. that's what i did with my first baby, and i got all the answers i needed and then some!

I bet your baby is tounge tied then. i had that problem with my first baby. she had to get referred to a water laser clinic to get the tounge tie released. after that it was nothing but perfect latches. i had to use a nipple sheild with her too before the laser treatment

if your baby is tounge tied do not take no as an answer. tounge tie can lead to latch problems, issues breastfeeding, it can lower your supply of milk, it disrupts bonding between mother and baby, because something always has to be inbetween you two, whether its a pump, a bottle, or a nipple sheild. and it can possibly cause speech problems later on. there is no way for them to tell if it can or can't. its better to get it taken care of young then when they are older

our babies is the same age and my daughter still only drinks 2oz sometimes 3oz :(((
