well at my appointment today I'm 4 cm and 70% effaced. getting induced on Tuesday 😃

Biggest word of advice is when you're induced please try to nap. You'll have a few hours of not feeling anything. The nurses told me to rest and I didn't. I wish I had.

what does effaced mean?

effaced is how thin your cervix is.

thanks. I've been getting all kinds of different things about the induction. had an extremely easy labor with my daughter so don't know what to expect.

wow that's far! my doctor said if I made to it 4 cm before my water breaking he'd send me to the hospital because 4 cm is the beginning of labor that you could begin anytime :o but my water ended up breaking at 1 1/2 cm dilated lol

mine won't unless I'm having contractions. lots of braxton hicks but nothing timeable.
