Girl I just went thro that it didn't bother my son he cried but it didn't bug him afterward. But it's sooo swollen and red even though the thing already fell off it's even worse :/

@lilmomma817, your son cried a bunch too when you changed his diaper?:( i hate it...so much...

I'm not sure about aquaphor. I just used Vaseline.

My mom would tell me don't be scared lol he will be ok....she said you scare him more by being scared. but like @junebaby said keeping it clean and taking alot of Vaseline will help it heal faster. also letting air get to it when possible

use a qtip and apply a lot of Vaseline and cover with gauze. in a week it'll be healed. just clean by gently blotting it.

I was scared when they did that to my son but I knew I had to clean him so even though ur son will cry try to do it as slow as possible he may cry but u will at least get it clean
