You know, even before Alaura was born people constantly told and still tell Shawn and I not to hold her all the time because she will become spoiled. But ya know what? When you've seen your child be in pain and be so helpless and suffer so much and when you've seen your child stop breathing like we have.. I will hold her, as much as she wants for as long as she wants.. because you know what I think? She's not spoiled. She's loved, she can't tell us how to take her pain away so we will comfort her however we can. If that's spoiling so be it, she's suffered enough!
