That's what you consider small? My son was the third generation 5 pound baby, && it's not actually that "fun". You'd think it would be less painful but no, a 5 pound baby can still cause you to tear. Also, the doctors will be more concerned about the baby's weight gain or loss more; by the 3rd day of life my son lost 10oz and it was really alarming. And if you have a small baby you'll have the world of onlookers constantly asking how premature your baby is, even if you have them on your due date like I did. It is much better to let the kiddo cook && you should hope for a healthy weight for the baby.
my daughter was 8 lb 5 oz . I'm happy she was a bit bigger. I couldn't imagine having a very tiny baby is be scared to hold the baby lol. hopefully my boy will be the same

Lol I've always been around smaller babies. My brothers were all 6 lbs 14 oz. I was only 5 lbs 3 oz lol @gvarra92

Me and my husband were both around 8 lbs. I got an ultrasound 23 weeks and baby is already 1 lb 6 oz.
