mom's who had c sections. how long does the pain last and what did you ladies do to help ease everything and if you had other children how did you balance out taking care of them and taking care of the baby when your in pain and can't do much? I'm struggling right now and my husband has been doing everything and when I say everything I mean everything except for the night time feedings. I let him sleep at night lol. I just feel so useless right now and it's making me emotional

the pain depends on if you get infected or not because it will then last longer. but it doesnt take long to heal as long as it doesnt get infected.

Well mine was over 8years ago but I couldnt to anything after the c-section. I think I had painkiller to ease the pain but it was still hard to do anything. I could barely get up from the bed. Didnt have anyone to help me and my husband was working, but thank god my brother-in-law came the first 3days to help a bit.

@allymae, mine wasnt infected and it took long time to heal.

It's been three weeks and mine still hurts. I bought these things called "c-panty and belly bandit" I'm telling you they have saved my life. It pretty much holds everything in place to make it easier to get up and move around.. I hope you feel better & take pain killers!
