I believe in sleep meds. I have always had problems sleeping r especially when I got pregnant. Had an appointment on Monday and they prescribed me Ambien. Here's the thing. It's a strong drug. I'm a tiny person. Before I was pregnant I was 110 and I'm 5'5 things go through me quickly. I took one tablet and drank water and put my phone on the charger and prepared to go to bed. I wake up a little later to pee and I feel so out of it. I had forgotten where my water bottle went my Chapstick which room I was in. Yes it put me to sleep perfectly I got the rest I needed but the amnesia was strong. I don't recommend this when your pregnant. I'm going back to the Benadryl!

you can take Tylenol pm or unisom. I take Tylenol pm I don't like unisom it gives me awful restless leg syndrome

@dessie0621, I use Benadryl every night because if I didn't I would never sleep. I have terrible anxiety at night. Benadryl is your best bet I never even thought about ambien because of the things I heard about it. Pretty much the same kind of story you had being so out of it and people sleep walking and acting totally whacked when on it.
