So I've been having what I can only describe as electric shock type pain up my vaginal canal. any thoughts on what this might be? I thought it may be be dilating, but at my last appointment I wasn't dilated at all....

I had that pain for my entire third trimester! It was my daughter pressing down on a nerve in my cervix. I will warn you, it gets more frequent as they get bigger. Just breathe through it!

I am having the same thing and I am only 12 weeks. I have no idea what it is but I plan on asking my doctor tomorrow about it. My gosh the pain is annoying!

Yea it's super crappy cuz there's no way to remedy it! that's got to be it @mamas_mia. uuugh. hopefully he comes sooner rather than later. I'll be 38 weeks tomorrow.
