my son was circumsized when he was about a month old. we had to wait until he got out of the nicu ... he was completely healed in 4 days and we've had 0 problems with it. we didn't do it because of religion either but we also did it because it s a lot cleaner and we know a couple who didn't circumsize their boys and they've had nothing but problems. also we didn't want our son asking us why he doesn't look like daddy when he gets older. it's whatever you feel is right for your baby :)

@elismom, I had to wait for my son to get out of nicu too. He was 3 1/2 weeks when he got it done. My sister had a boy as well and he sons dad didn't want him to get cicumsized and my nephew has a lot of problems now.
I don't want my son to not be circumcised because I've heard lots of infections and honestly I don't want him to be made fun of when he is older. Just being honest lol
No. I would never submit any child of mine to foreskin amputation. He's born with it for a reason and it serves protective and sensual functions for his entire life. No. Just no. It's backwards and barbaric especially the more you begin to read up on it. No. Do not cut your babies.

I'm expecting a boy and we are set to have him circumsized. It's cleaner and easier to take care of. and looks nicer in my opinion.

For! my son is. he literally cried for maybe 2 minutes and was fine. I feel it's cleaner and better for them.
