I'm not saying it's a race but I just noticed this. I just turned 21. 4/10 I'm on baby number one in a single parent already. I look around all my friends are younger than me (17, 18,19) working on baby number two and three. They always ask me why did I wait so late etc. my response? I was working my teenage butt off at work and in college. I've had to deal with a mental illness alone and a chronic illness to boot. Having no baby isn't like trading in your iPhone for the next one. Your in it for LIFE.

i didn't have my first kid until I was 23 which was really the age I wantes to start having kids. All my friends had kids before me. Now I'm the inly one who has a state job and a home and I am able to take carebif both my kids. You did a good job waiting.

Yes which is great! Both my kids were unplanned too. I see it this way you can't plan a miracle it just happens! Congratulations on your pregnancy! Being a mom is truly a blessing!

I was busy with grad school then teaching for seven years, dealing with an asshole ex of five years before I found the man I was to marry and settle down with! I guess it's okay to be older hahaha

wait so late? nothi.g wrong with wanting to be independent before a baby... Hubby and i were married 3 years working up to being able to afford a baby without financial stress (theres ways financial stress)... but not to the point of having to depend on others.... we finished college.. me as a teacher and him as an engineer... i wanted a baby young but knew i wanted to support it better than i was able to before...
