It's been a really busy day... I had my scan, I've seen the midwife and had my bloods taken and had my anti d injection, I saw the obstetrician and saw the pregnancy and diabetes consultant doctor and nurse and also saw the diabetic nutritionist. I was at the hospital from 9:45 am and we finally got home at 1:15 pm. Baby Hughes is measuring exactly where he should be (28 + 2) and he is weighing in at 2lbs 11oz. His heart, kidneys, brain and spine etc all look good, he has a good strong heartbeat and his blood flow is good too. There are no deformities and no excess fluid around him. Thankfully all appointments went well. I have to book in with the midwife at 30 weeks to have my whooping cough injection and I have to go back and see the diabetes team in 2 weeks as well. I have my next scan and obstetrician appointment on 26th May which is also my first born son's birthday :-) Will upload scan photo soon :-) Really considering having a 4d scan done to see what he looks like <3

Any moms with gestational diabetes that had to be induced early because of it? They’re treating me as though I have gestational diabetes, but I’m not having to be medicated for it and my levels are good when I check them.

I am into my 15 week now
But since last two days am not having good feeling....I just feel something is wrong inside wid d kid...all my symptoms r too less
Morning sickness is gone....Metallic taste of my tounge is also less....and I feel pain in my abdoman twice or thrice which is very minor though
What should i do i am very confused
Already have gone through 5 scans because of changing gynec
Just feel that untill i hear the heartbeat or see my kid i wont b ok....got sleepless nights
I just got my first time injections for gestational diabetes, im so scared to start injecting myself.... does anyone have gestational diabetes & had this problem too? There was no option for me, just insulin...helppp
Had my last injection in my tummy today thank goodness for that!! Had to do 7 days worth of them to thin my blood to prevent clots and i HATE needles with a passion, been having to get rob to do them for me and then i end up crying and he feels rotten 😕
So I had my baby at 12:46am but I’m asking for prayers or any good vibes sent my baby & my way. I had to have an emergency csection (never had one before either so still freaking out that I had one) because my placenta abrupted & now they transferred my baby to another hospital to give him care that this hospital doesn’t provide since he can not breathe on his own and he is going to be getting blood transfusions as well & they are saying it can go either way for my baby and I’m literally heartbr...
