okay so I have a question for all of you younger moms or even mom who have been in a situation…
okay so I have a question for all of you younger moms or even mom who have been in a situation similar to this . my boyfriend and the father of my child. are in a crappy situation where we don't live with each other so we can get out self in order and do what we have to do .. but he is always out partying and hanging with friends even on my days off he would rather hang with his friends then see or spend time with me .. I feel like shit already cause he didn't want kids till he was older . im starting to feel like i ruined his life taht he had planned but he was happy and but now we are at the point of ever time im off of work and could come see him he's too busy with his friends .. does it change after the baby is here or done it stay that way? it did with my brother when he was was expecting his first .. but I'm scared I love him so much but I feel like I'm loosing him at the same time and it scares me to death .. and today's his birthday and is spending it partying with friends .. and it makes me sad cause he knew I had planned something for his birthday but he told me he'd rather be with friends :( I just don't know what to do do I give him a chance till the baby's here or walk away

to be honest if he's not ready to grow up and be a father a baby won't change him. sometimes once the baby comes they change but more times than not they don't. I'm sorry you are dealing with this. I have been there more than once and I know it hurts. all you can do is wait and see or move on.

oh I'm so sorry... ask to come along? tell him how u feel. if he doesn't care give him the silent treatment and see if he cares. don't include him in any baby things. see if he cares

Give him a little time. It's still so early in your pregnancy it doesn't feel real to them. My boyfriend cried when I told him I was pregnant he thought it was going to ruin his life but now that he can feel his kicks and he sees my bump he's so excited. Remember a man doesn't become a father until he holds his child. Everything is so real to us as the child grows inside us but they don't experience anything until the baby is here. Just give him time to adjust but do not let him walk all over you either. Stay positive and keep your pretty head up mamma!!

My boyfriend(now ex) was very distant during my pregnancy it caused me to feel bad about myself Nd alone month after month I gave him time to come around n the changes were minimal we were together over three years so it wasn't new the baby was unexpected but we weren't using protection so this what happens. Right before the baby got here I decided that I deserved better treatment n so did he as I wasn't perfect so I broke up with him I can't be unhappy just to try to keep it together because we have a kid. He is so in love with the baby now that she's here u wouldn't believe he had treated me like he didn't care I guess some guys don't form an attachment to the baby until they see it so maybe he will turn out to be a good dad but maybe he doesn't want to be with u like why ditch u on his bday if u planned something in advance

Sometimes it gets better but it can turn into the worse , my daughters dad did the same thing I ended it there thinking he would change for the better , but now all he can do is tell me he doesn't want a relationship with me I made him unhappy blah blah blah . you don't just one day lose the feeling of wanting to have a family with someone that you love . but I hope everything turns out for you
