anyone got any advice my 1 month old has a bad sour stomach. you can smell it on her breathe she curls into a ball she screams in her sleep...the doctor said at first she had a lot of gas so she told me to give her mylicon drops before every feeding. I also have to give her gripe water after the feeding because she screams as if she has a stomach ache or something. and the gripe water seems to calm her right down...idk what to do we have her on prosobee enfamil which is soy based. but I hate seeing my daughter in pain..also her stool is hard balls so she's constipated and the doctor was aware of that and told me to give her prune juice but 45,minutes after she drinks it she also screams and won't stop for almost a good hour :( it was helping but that just even gave her more gas

burp her rub her belly n lift her legs up a couple time so she can let out gas... keep giving her prune juice it would help ....that's what I did with my son he got better in a couple days

@anqiee323, when I burp her she like projects her spit up. and she's in so much pain I tried the bicycle leg thing to help her and she won't even let me her knees are touching her chest :/ I sit her up when she's being fed and I keep her sitting up for about 20 minutes after feeding so she gets less gassy. I told the doctor I really think its acid reflux. plus I hear mucous in her chest and the doctor only said to use a cool moist vaporizer I been doing that for weeks and it won't come up and I seen online that babies with mucous in the respiratory track will get upset stomach because instead of coughing it up it gets ingested :/ so idk but I keep going to the doctors because she will projectile vomit the moment I burp her and its more than usual...but she has no fever at all! but something does not feel right I just want something that will help her I really do

is she formula fed? my son had the same problem and it ended up being an allergy to the formula, mixed with reflux

@teelynn929, yes she's formula fed this is the third time she's been switched..gentlease didn't work for her then they had her on similar and that made her constipated so they made me switch to prosobee and she's been on this about 3 weeks

we switched to nutramagen. its amino acid based. it took out all of the guessing & was a life saver! good luck!

@teelynn929, also she started off with baby acne on her face but then it started around her neck and top of her head! looks like a rash but her pediatrician said it was baby acne...but its bumpy and red and in my eyes looks like a rash..so I'm being sent away with no answers and its annoying me cause I know something is wrong she wasn't a fussy baby at all till she started doing formula and ever since its been one problem after another
