Has any Mommies not had a babyshower & bought EVERYTHING by themselves (Me&Daddy;) ?It seems so rare now that people just expect you to need a babyshower ,I was 100% sure I didn't need a babyshower & I truly didnt !

Im 16 and didnt have ababy shower i bought everything for my baby and i feel like its a better bond and you can get that excitement of picking things out for your loved one
I had a baby shower. but I really didnt need anything. my sister n law wanted to plan one for me so I let her. I believe they r a fun way to celebrate the baby. if u dont want the gifts. just have a diaper dunkin party. all anyone brings is diapers and wipes.
this is my first baby. I would like to have a surprise baby shower. but who knows, I'm not asking for one. I'm old fashioned. I don't want to plan my own shower. it just seems selfish to me. my sister in law planned her own baby shower only for the number of gifts. that there seemed a little selfish. if I get one awesome. if not, still awesome because I'm having my baby with or without one. ☺
@queenquee, And More Power To You ! ! ! This is my first & I feel so proud that we (Me & Her Father) were able to provide every bit of everything for our daughter !Not shaming anyone else that needed a shower ,I just take pride in myself .

Exactly i felt like if i didnt buy everything i would be missing out on things and it makes me feel good to buy things for my daughter and to not have anyone buy it lol
