If you aren't dilated or thinned out any chances are you won't go into labor. castor oil like everything normally doesn't work unless your body is already starting to go into labor.. your only 37 weeks it's to early!

@gillianamy, It may work then, most people just get horrible diarrhea... but everyone's different!

I tried it with my first, didn't make me go into labor AND I didn't get a trip to the bathroom. I was 4 days past due.
