Kind of a personal question, but as soon as I can I'm going back on birth control. I'm no good at remembering to take a pill at the same time everyday, let alone remembering to take it at all. And I don't want the depo (sp?) shot cause I've heard a lot of negative things about it. So I'm leaning toward the Mirena implant. Anyone have one or have any positive feedback on it? Just curious.

I had the IUD I had bad side effects to it but then I hear great for some women have you looked into wearing the patch ?

i had it as well and i didnt have a very good experience with either. i bled for almost two months and had terrible terrible cramps...then after i finally stopped bleeding i had a yellowish discharge and still terrible cramps. but i did want the iud to work 😒

You can get on bc at 6 weeks post partum and if you don't want to get pregnant I would highly suggest not having sex until a few weeks after you get on bc. I didn't get on anything after my first and 3 months later I'm pregnant again. Once I have this baby I'm getting on the Paragard IUD which is good for 10 years... If my husband and I decide we don't want anymore in about 5, he's going to get fixed
