Soo my son eats 4 to 6 oz every 3 1/2 to 4 hours. his pediatrician says he is eating to much but he doesn't spit up or anything like that burps just fine. he's 2 weeks old he will be 3 weeks old on thursday. he was 8 lbs 10 Oz when he was born and weighs 9 lbs 12 oz now. he is also 22 inches long. any answers for me guys

all i know is that a baby that is one month old can only hold 2 oz of milk.

My son was drinking 4-5 ounces before he was a month old, so a one month old can hold more than 2 ounces. My son was 9 lbs so he was a big baby too. Honestly I would just feed him what you think is best, he's your baby.

Yeah that's what my mom told me go with my instincts. he isn't gaining a crazy amount of weight i don't think. how old was your son when he was drinkin that much @caydensmommy

Like 2.5 or 3 weeks. Your son isn't gaining a crazy amount if weight, so I would continue feeding him however you want too. Doctors say one thing, but all babies are different!

so yeah pretty much my son's age. and yeah I agree not one is the same as the next. it's not like he's 15 lbs...he's barley 10. @caydensmommy
