So I just read something I have never heard before and if you are a expecting or just had your baby YOU SHOULD CHECK THIS OUT. Under the affordable health care act, most insurance companies are required to provide a breast pump FREE of charge. You just need to call your insurance and ask and if they do they will give you the supply companies to go through that offer different pumps. You choose the one you want and they will send it to you but most companies won't let you order until 30 days before your due date.

I am so glad I read about it, a girl got a $150.00 pump for free! I am totally going to call my insurance :)

my insurance people came to the hospital after I had my daughter and gave me mine. I didn't even ask for it or know about it.(-:

@sgtpeppertheory, that is great! I doubt most companies would do that. Mine wouldn't because I am having a home birth and I doubt they could find my house lol
