okay mommy's... have a question. Be a stay home mom or work? what are some things you like about it and what you don't?…

I am a stay at home mom and the thing I enjoy is being able to watch my children grow everyday and being able to enjoy days at the park and time with them my mother wasn't a stay at home mother I really wanted to be there more for my children and I truly was giving almost my whole paychecks to a baby sitter so I was pretty much working to pay a baby sitter that's why I also decided to stay home

I will be a stay at home mom, I want to be there while my children grow up and be a huge part of there lives. I want to teach them and be there whenever they may need me. So many people have children but don't really have a family feel bec both parents work, if you can support them on one income I say do it! If you decide it's not for you then you can always go back but you can't get those moments back if you you go back to work and decide you do want to be a stay at home mommy. My opinion :)

yeah I see your point and I don't really wanna take him to a day care.. I have seen so many bad thing in the news about them here lately. But I mean do you ever just need a break once a awhile thou? I mean I love my son and he is my world but sometimes I need a break. I heard a lot of people tell me if you stay home with your children they get really needy and not social with other people. @ab

@allisha, I see your point and if my husband gets this job he said I can stay home if I want too and I mean I do. but my family puts me down a lot for staying home with him. making jokes like oh what do u do all day and oh your job is so hard. it kinda gets under my skin a little but like you said I wanna be there for his moments.

When my husband comes home from work if I really need a break I'll go in my room watch some tv or take a bath and relax or I'll go out for a few to do food shopping trust me there will be days you will wish to go back to work cause you will miss the social life and being able to talk to adults but there is so much you can do join mommy and me classes or find groups in your town that meets up once a week I just moved to a new area 8 hours from all my friends so some days are harder for me then most but I truly am lucky to be able to stay home raise our children and I do know sooner or later I will go back to work one day I'm just cherishing these moments now

Yeah I understand the family thing but that is there opinion and they are not your priority. My family thinks I should get a job but being a stay at home mom is a job and a tough one at that, unless they have done it they don't know so don't let them get to you!

okay thank you ladies! yeah I think I'll stay home with him until I really need to go back to work. Maybe after a year or so I will. thank you(:

I am a working mom & although its tough to miss out on precious moments you tend to find a balance. Some women are fortunate to have the opportunity to stay home. Others have no choice but to work. So I try to make the best out of the time I do get to spend with my child.
